This Uganda Safari brings you to Uganda’s top safari parks: Lake Mburo National Park, Bwindi Gorilla Impenetrable Forest for mountain gorilla trekking tour, Kibale Forest National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park, chimpanzee trekking safari, wildlife/game safari.
The safari starts with a game-viewing safari through Lake Mburo National park, Uganda’s smallest savanna national park but a wonderful haven for wildlife and nature lovers.
This safari later takes you to Bwindi Gorilla Forest for a gorilla safari. Tracking some of the last remaining 700 mountain gorillas in the world is another omissible holiday activity in a true Uganda Safari. This activity will be carried out in Bwindi where there are 3 habituated gorilla families.
Later, the Safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth, the top safari destination in Western Uganda toured by Uganda. A safari with a broad variety of games such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and leopards in the Savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park is another great experience of this Uganda Safari.
Other activities to be carried out on this safari include; a hunt for the tree-climbing lions lounging on old fig trees in the Ishasha region as well as a launch cruise on Kazinga Channel where schools of hippos and crocodiles can be seen.
A wide variety of birds at the channel present a haven to birders yet the tropical rain forests of Maramagambo are a treasure to nature lovers. The safari ends in Kibale National Park with a chimpanzee tracking tour within the tropical rainforest. Apart from chimpanzees, Kibale is home to 11 other primates that can also be seen in this park.
